Well, what a crazy week . Last Thursday, we were at the Bowling alley in which you beat me amd we found out the shore had to evacuate at 6am Fri morning due to Irene. T, S and A came Friday. Spent the day at the pool. You passed the band test and could swim in deep end and do the slides. Stayed at pool until late, then BBQ and xbox.
Sat, we spent time at arcade, indoor amusement park. So proud you tried the Rock wall despite being scared and you almost got your feet to second level. A had great time. S gave you his tickets. Was a ton of fun. It was rainy.
Sat night around 9 storm got worse. Had a few torando warnings, Sent you boys to basement here you watched movie. On way up around 1130 when warnings were over, you felt something wet on way up cellar steps. Yep basement leaked but that was it. Thankfully Chuck was home Sat and Sunday
Sunday was nice but windy. Got you ready for first day of school. You wanted Pizza Hut for dinner On way there I found out no school on first day due to power failures.
Monday we saw the smurfs and just you and I enjoyed our bonus day of summer.
First Day of School, PICTURES. In one picture there is a ray of light from heaven around you. Like to think it was mom-mom.We walked with neighbors to school and it was funnt b/c everyone walks wasnlike a parade. You walked up and stopped unsure where to go and you just looked so scared. But someone pointed you in right direction and off you went. After school you were pretty happy. Kid said you did good job with foursquare, you made a teeshirt and boys with sit with seem nice.
Wed, you had another good day. Found out there is another new kid . I have been lucky neighbor has introduced me to moms and people on walks. On way to school, you told me you liked walking with me b/c it was our alone time to chat.
Thursday. Pop pop walked with us as we got to school, a kid called out to you and you walked in together, Your teacher called to introduce herself. You ahd new teacher for reading and are happy on way home a boy A said hi and we walked with a girl in your class.
Friday. Chuck was home early walked with me to get you even though his leg hurts a lot. He hurt it at work. Another good day, You said Math was hard, They do math very different here. Talked with tecaher and she is thinking of moving you for math. you came home and are trying to solve rubick cube. Love you. You did awesome this week Love u
